Along with most other Taipeinese people we have gone to Kenting.

The Taiwanese school holidays has started and so has the Dragon Boat Festival.

For this season as lot of Taiwanese, as well as Mainland Chinese people, travel to the southern part of Taiwan, Kenting, and so have we. But unfortunately the weather is against us and we have only had 2 hours of dry weather since we arrived.

The water is this beautiful turquoise colour and the beach is nice, however it is so much more crowded here than anticipated and there are way too many waves for the kids to be able to go for a swim. The hunt is on for a nice kids-friendly beach…as soon as the tropical rain stops…
