National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium

It is raining “cats and dogs” here in Kenting, tropical rain has not stopped pouring since we arrived. So we decided to go to the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. We tried to book an overnight stay here last week, but unfortunately everything was already booked. But if you come by this amazing place, do try and book a stay, I hear it is a very unique experience.

The aquarium itself is absolutely amazing – nothing less. So many interesting sea animals and the aquariums and tunnels are the most beautiful we ever saw. We spend 5 hours here, and we could easily have spend more. Especially the tunnels in the main building and the “Waters of the World” part of the aquarium were highlights. At the latter  we were handed 3D-glasses, and a saw great 3D films throughout the exhibitions. The kids loved it and so did we.

Sorry to say, that the pictures from this trip does not justify the experience at all…
