The Battleship Rock in Taipei offers a light trekking and an amazing panoramic view of Taipei. It is located just behind the house of our friends, so a trip to the top was a must-do. If you are not staying in the Beitou area, the metrostation closest is the Shipai St.

We heard the best view of the 101 is from the Elephant Mountain, however the Battleship Rock definitely also worth going for.
