Oh yes, we went shopping…

In the land of kimonos, we went shopping for just that.

There are kimonos and then are are kimonos. A serious kimono is made by measure by true craftsmen and is very pricey. However what i was looking for was a vintage kimono and those you find at Chicago when in Tokyo.

I ended up buying 3 short ones (actually jackets of kimonos). I also tried to find some for the girls, however the ones they had for kids were too big for them. I will keep my eyes out for other places to find kids kimonos while we are in town.
