Tokyo really is the ultimate shopping city. It just has everything. 

Besides being a good place to buy a kimono or finding the best sushi in the world, Japanese cheramics and steel is also known for being “top of the pop”.

When shopping for a good Japanese knife and handmade cheramics (or anything else kitchenware) you go to Kitchen Town. It is located between Ueno and Asakusa and it is a small heaven for those interested in buying quality gear for the kitchen.

We got a beautiful knife and a couple of handmade trays with us. Souvenirs we know we will treasure for a long time to come.
