National Palace Museum

Let’s begin with some history.

On our first day in Seoul we went to see the National Palace, however 2 minutes after arriving it started pouring down with rain. So we went to the National Palace Museum for shelter.

The National Palace Museum of Korea is displaying relics from the Joseon Dynasty [1392~1910]. It has 3 floors with more than 20,000 royal relics from Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine on display.

It is a very beautiful collection and we really liked the virtual reality area, where you learn about the Joseon Dynasty.
