Probably my favourite place in Paris…

The Palais Royal is located in the heart of Paris just steps away from Louvre, however it can easily be missed due to the discreet entrances.
The Palais holds small court yards, parks and mini-ature high end shops all the way around the side of the larger inner courtyard. A couple of small restaurants are also present and can be recommended for a nice lunch.

But especially the striped columns are a sight not to be missed. No matter how little time I have, when visiting this great city, I always make time to drop by the Palais for a “quick fix”.
