When architecture supports art.

Being a fan of artists Louise Bourgeois and Robert Gober I was very excited to visit the Fondazione Prada – and I wasn’t disappointed one bit, it was truly an amazing experience. The LB and RG exhibitions are part of the permanent installations and then they also have changing exhibitions around the year.

The gold building welcomes you when you arrive with promises of something grand, and the beauty and details are really not justified by the images. It has to be experienced in person. I honestly hope to go back some day, because one visit was not enough.

The location is a little bit outside of the city centre. It’s only a 10 euro ride by taxi, but you could easily walk or bicycle out here as well.
