Location, location, location.

Our B&B in Pompei was not fancy by any means, the opposite in fact. However it was right just across from the Pompei archaeological site – literarily – 200 meters from the entrance. It was a bit annoying that when we arrived we could only check in at 7PM and then we had to pay an extra 40 euros for the girls. But the large room was clean, there was both a double bed and bunk beds, a small kitchenette and breakfast came at exactly 8AM, as requested, with freshly baked croissants and cappuccinos.

All in all, not THE best B&B experience ever, but not the worst either, and the location was unbeatable.
