Villa Disa

An authentic Italian villa between Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo.

We did a lot of research to find a nice villa with pool were you could stay 8 people (4 kids and 4 adults). We ended up renting a double house in the valley just between the very charming seaside towns of Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo. Turned out to be the perfect solution when being two travelling families together for a full week.

The pictures are just from our villa; Villa Disa. 1,5 km from a small local beach, 3 km from the best food market (the Scopello Market: fresh local food, amazing deli and homegrown wine and olive oil), 5 km to either Scopello or Castellammare.

The house is an authentic farm house that was fully renovated 10 years ago and has the rustic look, but all the modern facilities you need such as air con, a nice bathroom and a washing machine…not to mention the large beautiful pool.

We had 7 really great days in this villa, and would be more than happy to book through Bagliori di Sicilia another time, if we come back to Sicily.

  1. Hi there,
You mention that you rented the villa through Bagliori di Sicilia and were happy with them. Did you have to pay anything in advance? I ask because I have reserved a different villa with them but am a bit nervous as it is difficult to find any reviews, rather a couple of bad ones and they don’t list an address or anything. Did you deal with Salvatore? And did you rent a car through them? I just am trying to make sure they really are legitimate. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

    1. Hi Alexandra,
To be honest I don’t remember about the deposit. But yes, it was a dialogue with Salvatore and everything was just fine and all was a planned when we arrived. We came via Puglia, so we did not rent a car through them, but I am sure they can be helpful with this.
