Best Korean barbecue in Berlin.

Berlin has a great number and variety of Asian restaurants. Korean barbecue is a favourite of ours, and it is always great, when having the girls with us too.

For a long time the area, it was a haven for immigrant communities and crusty leftists. But this time around visiting Berlin, we could definitely tell that Kreuzberg is a-changing.The Ssam is located in Kreuzberg on Kottbusser Damm and serves real-deal Korean BBQ in a stylish, wood-and-fluorescents interior. Prices are fair and there’s plenty of soju to wash down the bibimbap, grilled squid and barbecued brisket. Both meat lovers and vegetarians can have their cravings satisfied.

The place serves a good mix of date-nights, business dinners, friends and families. The atmosphere is charming, the staff speaks english and  it is fully booked all nights of the week.  Table bookings are recommended.
