The beach is a surfer’s paradise and most of the days too rough to just go for a nice swim. It’s Bali’s most stylish and upscale beach resort area and the offers for beach front stays are numerous.
Seminyak nowadays is also home to some of the most chic boutique resorts and villas on the island. Offering a quite extravagant mix of luxury stays with the likes of The Anantara, the ultramodern W Retreat & Spa, and a collection of other five-star villas (amongst others The Island Houses) added to the scene.
For a nice day at the beach and maybe sunset dining, venues such as Ku De Ta and the Potato Head Beach Club offers just that. And we would recommend this to all non-surfers and families any day.
Surfer schools are easy to access and Seminyak beach is a good place to start, since the water is somewhat shallow. The schools offers all levels and all equipment as well. Time tables are depending on waves and tides…
The beach is also nice for a long walk, or a change of scenery from the bustling streets just behind.
