“Hey Dorothy, I don’t think we are in Kansas anymore…”

We left Koh Lanta today to go to Koh Ngai – and it truly feels very Robinson Crusoe-ish. Besides a couple of small Resorts here there is just you, the island and the ocean. No real roads, so no cars, no kiosks, no nothing. And with a coral reef just in front of the resort we feel so spoiled. We have to wear swim shoes, when we go for a swim, because of the reef. But that’s a very small “price” to pay for paradise…

The resort has 28 small bungalows. But with only 10 occupied we are definitely out of the mass tourist zone on every level.
