Laem Sor Pagoda

Laem Sor Pagoda guarded by Yaks (Giants)

Today we visited this less known attraction in the South West corner of Koh Samui. It is only 700 meter down the beach from us, so we thought it would be a nice late afternoon sight.

It was. And it was not. The girls were totally being a pain walking the very short distance. However we did make it to and back from the small pagoda..all 4 on their own 2 feet…

The Wat Laem Sor temple is part of a complex covering a huge area set in a beautiful jungle like environment. Due to the location it is usually quiet. A lot of monks are connected to this holy temple, living right next to it. Especially Agnes thought it was very interesting/strange with this other religion of Buddhism.

  1. Hej I fire.
