The Hanoi Pearl hotel is a small 4-star hotel in the Old Quarter. We stayed here the 2 days we had exploring Hanoi and we came back after the Ha Long Bay cancellation too.

The service is unbeatable. The staff is so kind and they really meant a lot to our family and our stay in Hanoi…even to our further stay in Sapa (since they offer booking of trips going out or to Hanoi).

Location is important when you have a limited amount of time (and even more so when you travel with kids). The location of the hotel is the best; in the Old Quarter, right next to the Hoan Kiem Lake, around the corner from the Weekend Night Market, the best noodle soups in town and much more.

Even the view is great (picture below). To get this view you have to have a room “away from the street view”. I don’t know what it is called, but it will make sense to the staff if you are to make this request.
