Six Senses

We have died and gone to the Sixth Heaven…

We have arrived at Ninh Van Bay, a small bay in the East Vietnamese Sea. Here the luxurious resort Six Senses reigns. Very much known as a resort destination for honeymooners and romantic getaways, however it is also a heaven for kids families so we have learned. Last we went to a Six Sense resort was in 2009 in Hua Hin, and it was wonderful as a spoiled couples vacation, so we were curious how it would be with kids.

Honestly it is SO good it is not even funny. The villa is spacious and the girls love it – especially their little alcove bed towards the private pool. There is a free ice cream bar at the pool restaurant, kids menus, kids bikes, a playground, a kids club (with daily activities) and more attention from the staff that what one could wish for.

The only way to get here is by boat (or water plane/ helicopter). The bay is completely private and peaceful. Only the few (sustainable) beach/rock or hillside villas hidden in between the luscious green planting are present.  The small nature paths around the (rather large) area are easily covered by golf cars or bicycles.

While staying here we will celebrate the girls birthdays, since the next coming days (when their actual birthdays are) will be a bit hectic and covered with travels and tours.

Do we need to mention that we don’t want to leave this place…
