The Gion area of Kyoto is located in the heart of Kyoto and is very famous for its Geisha entertainment and arts. But it is also a gastronomical mekka of great Japanese food and has the most charming narrow streets of old traditional Japanese houses. We really enjoyed staying here and hope to come back some day.
