The tiny historic castle, Eremitage, is located in the middle of the beautiful old royal hunting park a little north of Copenhagen.

Even though it was a very misty and dark winter morning the park is beautiful and from the castle you can see very far, on a bright day there is even ocean view. 

The park also features some of the best sliding hills (winter snow time) and on most days you can rent a pony to ride around and explore. 

But the best park is the wild animal life right in front of you. We saw hundreds of deers and stags – very closeup too – it is a very unique experience. The animals are used to lots of people in the park, and that is why they allow us so close.

The park is located right next to the Klampenborg St, it is just a 15 minute ride from central Copenhagen.
