A great spot for a fiesta.

Motel Mexicola is one of the hottest spots on the Seminyak block. All done in 1960s Acupulco retro style at this Mexican restaurant – added with a lot of bright neon and tasty delights. The deco is some of the most flashy and colourful we have come across, making it super photogenic and fun to hang out.

Obviously a lot of photo action and people come here to shoot their OOTD or similar, so we were a little worried that this instagram hot spot would be all about appearance, however the food is actually good and we had a really nice lunch and drinks. Chef Steven Skelly is the real deal and he serves up some tasty traditional mexi food designed to share.

The Motel Mexicola is located right in the middle of Seminyak close to the beach, making it a perfect spot to either have a lunch fiesta or go for dinner and dancing. After dark the “Motel” turns into party venue with a groovy on the dance floor and a lot of margaritas. Looks cool, no?

during the day it is no problem to just drop by, however for evening visits a booking is recommended.
