The Tsukiji Fish Market consists of a few blocks of fresh fish shops, as well as small restaurants along narrow lanes.

The fish here is delivered directly from the Toyosu Fish Market and is super fresh, one of Tokyo’s best places to enjoy seafood. The restaurants open at 05.00 and locals come here for both wholesale and retail.

We had lunch on the first floor of a small section of indoor market. The main part of the fish market is outdoor.

We had a small sashimi lunch set (water is always free in Japan at restaurants) for approx 15 euros.
