By accident we went to Kibune on a Bank Holiday, so it was super busy.

And since we didn’t do much research about Kibune before going (actually none at all), we didn’t realise the Kifune Shrine is the main attraction when sightseeing in this area for local tourist. We came by it by chance and decided to see what it was (and get a Kibune temple stamp).

Due to the bank holiday the temple was super busy. A long line of people wanting to pay their respect, pray and give donations was in front of the temple and it was interesting to see all their different rituals and feel the hectic Bank Holiday atmosphere.
