The most famous beach in of South Korea is the Haeundae Beach. 

To get to the beach you have to cross the Gwangandaegyo bridge – a famous landmark for Busan (inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco).

Now, the water is freezing even though it is summer, so instead of bathing, we went a small ocean sidewalk and enjoyed the view and an ice cream.

What seemed very random to us, we found The Little Mermaid (a copy) sitting on the rocks outside of the beach. It even said on the sign “The Little Mermaid from Denmark”.
