Moesgaard Museum

A modern museum where the visitors experiences are centre of attention and the architecture is on point.

The Moesgaard Museum is a cultural and historical museum that takes point of departure in ethnography and archeology to communicate human conditions and life locally, globally and through time.

Although we visit Aarhus often, we have never been to Moesgaard Museum, so we were happy to find the time to spend half a day here during our Easter holidays.

The museum is very modern and all the exhibitions had a lot of various digital interactions opportunities, which was both were interesting and very kids friendly.

The restaurant on sight had an amazing view and the food was nice.

The roof has to be mentioned since it was very unique; made of grass and build as a slope were guests could go for a walk or/and have a picnic and enjoy the spectacular view of forest and further out the sea.
