The perfect turquoise water.

In Puglia we tried to go to the beach several times, however since it was very windy (which was nice) the were a lot of waves.

Here in Tropea there is absolutely no wind (very hot), so the water is just perfectly still and turquoise. We finally made the girls come to the beach and go into the water. Actually we spend most of the day here, swimming, playing cards and having fun looking at locals on the beach. We chose the beach were you bring everything yourself (no beach beds in sight) to have a local feel.

The water was the perfect temperature – not too hot and not too cold. The girls loved all the beautiful stones (it is a stone beach) and all the action of being on a local Italian beach.
