Apparently it’s a thing.

Instagram has a lot of power, and so the phenomenon “The Bali swing” is amongst the proofs.

Especially the rice fields’ swings and the jungle swings are very popular. More and more swings and nests are “poppin'” up around on Bali.

We came across one by accident. It is located at the restaurant Bebek Puri Suling in the Ubud area just next to the Hindu tempel Pura Samuan Tiga.

To our surprice we had to pay to try the swing but then the nest was included as well. Later we found out, that we were charged very little fee compared to other places (100.000 rupiah).

Agnes was the only brave one of us all to try the swing out in the middle of the jungle…
