We had never seen a glacier before, so we went to the Norwegian Glacier Museum on a rainy day to learn more. A small, but nice museum about global warming and the Norwegian glaciers.
After the trip by the museum we went just 10 minutes further north to see the Jostedalsbreen Glacier.
This glacier can also be experience via a guided trip to the top, however, both the right gear as well as children with more hiking experience is required for such a trip…maybe next time. Still it was impressive and beautiful to see the tip of the glacier first hand.
